Karen Fernandes is a Vice President of Windham Capital Management, LLC. She is responsible for the growth and development of Windham’s investment management and advisory services businesses. In addition she is responsible for managing relationships with investment consultants, foundations, endowment funds, and independent investment advisors. Previously, Karen spent five years with State Street Bank and Trust Company. She was a Vice President in charge of global marketing and sales for the currency management products of Windham Capital Management and State Street Associates. Under her leadership assets under management grew from $4 billion to over $25 billion. Prior to State Street, Karen was a Marketing Manager at EnCapital, a Boston-based boutique investment banking firm.

Karen received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Boston University. She holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses and has obtained a Certificate in FSA Financial Regulation. Karen is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society and the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE).
