Windham is looking for an intern to join the research and development group. The intern will participate in all aspects of our R&D group including research and construction of IT-based tools and strategies to support our advisory and asset management services.

This position is ideally suited to an individual with computer programming skills seeking a career within the quantitative finance industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research and development of enhancements to our asset allocation and risk management software
• Provide support of software tools to internal and external clients
• Provide general IT support to internal users – on average one day per week
• Adhere to Windham’s policies and procedures

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• (Enrolled in/Completion of) a degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Strong software development skills (Windows .NET C++ preferred)
• Minor or interest in finance or economics would be a plus
• Attention to detail and effective time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong general computer skills (Excel, Access, Visual Basic)
• Strong communication skills
• Minimum of 20 hours per week during the fall

COMPENSATION
This is a paid internship. The rate is competitive with the industry.
